Early Years Programme
	In 2003 we established an Early Years Programme for children aged 0-5 years living in our interim accommodation projects.  The aim of this programme is to meet the individual learning and developmental needs of pre-school children through play based activities and to offer respite for parents that have little family support. Our Early Years Programme also offers ongoing support for young parents who are participating in training and parenting programmes.
Parents living in our accommodation projects are able to access a wide range of educational and training opportunities such as cookery courses, basic literacy and numeracy programmes as well as essential life-skills training.  We also provide high quality crèche facilities. The Early Years Programme, located within our Shepherd's View project is a partnership between First Housing and the Western Health & Social Care Trust.
