You will work for a leading voluntary sector, non-profit making organisation that provides professional advice on housing in Northern Ireland and solutions for people who find themselves in housing difficulties. Our Floating Support Service provides support to young people (16-25 years) who are, or who have been experiencing housing difficulties and related issues.

Your New Role within the Floating Support Service
You will work as part of team providing one to one support to service users with a range of needs; in particular substance misuse issues, mental health issues and those at risk of offending behaviour within the Western Health & Social Care Trust area.

Minimum Criteria (a Full Job Description and Personnel Specification is available with an application pack)

• Minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
• NVQ Level III (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care OR relevant equivalent qualification in Social Work, Community Work or Housing Care
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience providing support to 16-25 years old in particular those with substance misuse issues, mental health issues and those at risk of offending behaviour
• A valid driving licence and access to a car. (if disability prohibits driving, the applicant must be able to organise suitable alternative arrangements)
• IT skills
