We invite applications for the following:

ACCOMMODATION SUPPORT WORKER, DAMIEN HOUSE, (TEMPORARY POSITION FOR 6 MONTHS FROM DATE OF COMMENCEMENT), (Ref:  ASDH/R12/01)

Salary:  £17,660 per annum (pro rata)

37.5 Hours per week (Rota Shift Work) Full time

Based in our Damien House Project, Derry/Londonderry

The post holder will work as part of a team providing residential provision with attached support services for vulnerable adults with alcohol misuse/ difficulties under appropriate shift pattern cover.  Support procedures will include monitoring, assessment and review of residents as well as ensuring a healthy, safe and secure living environment is maintained.

Minimum Criteria (a Full Job Description and Personnel Specification is available with an application pack)

  • Minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
  • A relevant recognised qualification in health and social care or related field (Minimum NVQ level II or equivalent).
  • At least two years recent experience of working in an accommodation or community work setting with vulnerable people with alcohol dependency.
  • IT Skills.

37.5 hours per week (Rota Shift Work)

Based in Francis Street Accommodation Project, Derry/Londonderry

Salary:  £17,660 per annum

 

To work within a team setting providing support service to vulnerable service users.

 

Minimum Criteria (a Full Job Description and Personnel Specification is available with an application pack)

 

  • Minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
  • A relevant recognised qualification in health and social care or related field (Minimum NVQ level II or equivalent)
  • At least two years recent experience of working in an accommodation or community work setting with vulnerable 16-21 year olds.
  • IT skills
