Salary: £13,138 per annum
About Us
You will work for a leading voluntary sector, non-profit making organisation that provides professional advice on housing in Northern Ireland and solutions for people who find themselves in housing difficulties. Our Floating Support Service provides support to homeless families and singles over 18 years old who are, or who have been experiencing housing difficulties and related issues.
Your New Role with Floating Support
You will implement a floating support service to vulnerable people (55+ years) who are or have been experiencing housing difficulties and related issues.
Minimum Criteria (a Full Job Description and Personnel Specification is available with an application pack)
• Minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
• NVQ Level III (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care OR relevant equivalent qualification in Social Work, Community Work or Housing Care (Desirable)
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience providing support to families and singles, in particular those with substance misuse issues, mental health issues and those at risk of offending behaviour. Experience working with 55+ years is desirable but not essential
• A valid driving licence and access to a car. (if disability prohibits driving, the applicant must be able to organise suitable alternative arrangements)
• IT skills
